OUR Relentless Pursuit To Get Better
Here comes 2021 with a winter weather precipitation event. Currently, for our District the National Weather Service has stated the potential of some winter precipitation continuing to increase Sunday into Monday. The forecasted impacts appear to be light now with accumulation starting early Sunday evening into Sunday night and ending Monday morning. Currently, the NWS does not forecast this event to bring ice accumulations. TXDOT has been working diligently to treat major roadways and they will be monitoring the situation through the weekend. Also, Oncor is engaged in monitoring this system and is prepared to respond if needed. The temperature is projected to be in the low 30’s, so roads should be safe.
HISD will be monitoring the weather and will notify our parents/guardians if there is a need for any delays Monday.
IT’S A GREAT TIME TO BE A RED DEVIL!!
