Huntington ISD

On September 15th, 2025 at approximately 10:30 am, the Huntington ISD Police Department was notified of a possible weapon located in a student vehicle in the PRIDE alternative campus parking lot. HISD administration and Police Department took swift action and immediately investigated the allegation. A weapon was found in the student’s vehicle which was quickly confiscated and the student was taken into custody. At no time were students or staff in danger. The safety of our staff, students, and local community is our number one priority. Thank you for your continued support!
