Huntington ISD

The National Merit Scholarship Program is an annual competition for high school students (both traditional and homeschooled) planning to attend college. Students should take the PSAT/NMSQT in their junior year to be eligible for scholarships and recognition through the program. Taking the PSAT 8/9 or the PSAT 10 will not qualify students for the program.

Huntington High School will administer the PSAT/NMSQT on October 21st.

Homeschool students who are classified as high school juniors are eligible to participate in the testing session at Huntington High School. Homeschool students who would like to register for the PSAT/NMSQT should contact the High School counselor at 936.976.4287 ext. 4004.
